Jaswinder Singh Dilawari has officially applied to seek the Liberal Party of Canada nomination and has submitted his complete nomination package to the Green Light Committee at the Federal Liberal Party of Canada headquarters. He is currently awaiting approval, commonly referred to as the “green light,” which would allow him to become an official participant in the federal Liberal nomination process.

Under the Liberal Party’s national candidate selection rules, the Green Light Committee reviews nomination contestant packages, conducts background evaluations, and determines whether applicants qualify to proceed as official nomination contestants.

If approved, Jaswinder Singh Dilawari will move forward as an official Liberal nomination contestant and participate in the nomination process for the respective federal electoral district. The Liberal Party’s process includes vetting, interviews, and review of community involvement, public record, and commitment to party values before final approval is granted.

Jaswinder Singh Dilawari is a community activist, educator, and media professional based in Canada, immigrated 2014 as Federal Skilled Worker and university instructor. He previously served in Punjab, India, as Assistant Professor, Principal, Director in engineering institutions. Holds B.E. Computer Science and Engineering.

In Canada worked as Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University and Instructor at Coquitlam College.

Community associated with Punjabi Press Club of BC Chardikala Brotherhood Welfare Association Cloverdale Community Kitchen South Asian Media Association runs podcast YouTube.

He focuses on grassroots issues civic engagement multicultural dialogue inclusive development.

Jaswinder Singh Dilawari is married to Jasmine Kaur who is Surrey School Board teacher in a high school in Surrey and is a father of Inaayat Dilawari who is going to be a university student soon.

He has extensive experience in multicultural communication public engagement and bridging South Asian diaspora communities across British Columbia.

He actively participates in civic forums media discussions and community initiatives focused on social awareness education and policy dialogue.

He continues to contribute through digital media platforms and podcasts addressing current affairs and community development topics.

He is committed to inclusive development democratic values and strengthening community representation in Canada’s multicultural society.

Family life remains central supporting his public service and professional commitments.
